FEES & INSURANCE

I am an in-network provider with the following insurance companies:
  • Aetna
  • Anthem Blue Cross California
  • Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts*
  • Horizon Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey*
  • Please note: I am no longer accepting Cigna, United Healthcare, Oscar Health, or Oxford.
*CA residents only.
Cash pay rate: $180 per 45 minute session.
  • All major credit cards are accepted.
  • You may be able to use your HSA (health savings account) to pay for sessions if associated with a major credit card company.
Out of Network reimbursement: I will provide you with Superbills monthly which you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. You will need to check with your insurance company to see if they offer out-of-network reimbursement.

A note about insurance and your responsibilty: You may have a copayment or deductible which you are responsible for. If for any reason your insurance does not pay for your sessions or rejects your request for reimbursement, it is your responsibilty to pay for your services.

Payment is due at the time of service. Your insurance and/or credit card payments will be processed after your session.

No-Show and Cancellation Policy: There is a cancellation policy in place to ensure the smooth operation of services. I understand that unforeseen circumstances can arise making it necessary to reschedule or cancel appointments. However, it's important to maintain a fair approach that respects both my time and the needs of other clients.
  • Advance Notice: I kindly request that you provide me with advance notice of any appointment changes or cancellations. This allows me to offer the time slot to another client who may be in need of therapy. I require a minimum of 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment without a fee.
  • Cancellation Fees: If you are unable to provide sufficient notice or fail to attend a scheduled appointment, you will be charged a cancellation fee equivalent to the full charge for your session. This fee is intended to compensate for the time that was set aside for your session and that could have been allocated to another client. Insurance does not cover this fee and you will be charged directly.
  • Consideration of Emergencies: I understand that emergencies and unexpected circumstances can occur, leading to the need for short-notice cancellations. In such cases, I ask that you communicate with me as soon as possible. I aim to be flexible in cases of genuine emergencies while also maintaining the overall fairness of the cancellation policy. By adhering to this policy, I can maintain consistent and reliable services, as well as provide access to therapy for as many individuals as possible. I will use my own discretion to decide if your circumstance warrants a genuine emergency.
No Surprises Act: You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of what your services may cost. To learn more, please click here.
